Your Data

This policy refers to how we handle your personal information. In our case this relates to Name, address, email address and contact telephone number. You supply this information to us when you apply to exhibit at the Exeter Craft Festival via the application form. Any data stored in a database is password-protected accessible only by the ECF Administrator.

How your data is used

The ECF uses your data to contact you with information, news and updates about the ECF event.  The ECF seeks your permission via its application process to publish some of this data, for example your name, business name and certain contact details, in electronic and hard copy format, in order to promote your business and inform the public / third parties about the ECF event.

It should also be noted that photographs are taken of attendees and stall holders at the Exeter Craft Festival by the public, press and committee members.  These photographs may be used in publicity, including on the Exeter Craft Festival website and in leaflets and other promotional materials.

We already ask for the following permission on the application form.

I do / do not give permission for my contact number / e-mail / web site to be used in Exeter Craft Festival publicity. Delete as appropriate.

How long do we keep your data?

Your data is kept for a maximum of 2 Years
