I meticulously design, pattern cut or block, wire and hand sew millinery, bags and adornments using traditional millinery and couture techniques and often incorporating appliqué, patchwork or embroidery.  All my work exemplifies attention to detail, a joyous use of colour and a sense of the bold and the theatrical.  Many of the hats and adornments can be worn and used every day to look stylish, feel great and cause a stir. I specialise in using silk, velvet, wool, felt, sinamay and printed fabric, much of which is re-cycled. All my creations are “one-offs” and I strive to design pieces that empower the wearer, inviting them to express their personality and embrace their individuality.  After working in the theatre for twenty five years, I re-trained as a milliner at the London College of Fashion
