Beeswax Alchemy

Beeswax Alchemy was started as a hobby of candle making and beekeeping to help support myself through my A Level course at college.

From here I began the journey of becoming a competent chandler and am now working on Beeswax Alchemy full time.

I love all the special things in life, but the more I have worked with bees and the wonderful things they produce I have realised that I need to be part of the reset button in our environmental impact on our planet.

All my products are made in my workshop in Devon using our own and local pure beeswax from the Southwest beekeeping communities.

When making my beeswax candles I use traditional methods to hand dip my candles, learnt from a master chandler trained in Denmark.

For the more unusual shapes I individually hand pour each candle, using tailor made moulds.

I make sure that all my candles are made to burn beautifully and efficiently, testing wax batches and wicks is a integral part of my craft.

Alongside my range of candles, I also sell a variety of beeswax products such as beeswax polish, lip balm and a customer favourite pure beeswax luminaries.
