I am artist and designer-maker creating a range of functional works as well as one-off art pieces using sustainable, locally sourced woods.

The items I create are thoughtfully considered, minimalist and sleek, taming the wildwood for modern lives.

From classically gnarled British oak to a dusky and mysterious hardwood from overseas: all wood is a natural story and no two stories are alike. The ancient tales of growth, written deep within the grain – the twists, knots and patterns are what make wood a joy to work with. Each quirk of the timber helps me find the piece it will become.
